It took them 1 week + 1 day to process my medical checkup which consists of blood test and X-ray…I was told that it can be processed like in a day or two…damn, I was sitting idle at home most of the time in SG, playing PSP, watching TV, play with Brandy the dog, surfing around aimlessly, while waiting for the medical check up result and was I kinda nervous because I’m afraid that there’s some problems with my blood or something.
Everyone back in Penang was asking me when I’ll be starting to work and I couldn’t tell them an exact date due to this stupid report. knn…
And so today finally my company got my medical report and I went to MOM ( Mask of Madness for you dota freaks! Ministry of Manpower for normal peeps ) and thinking that if I could collect my EP ( Employment Pass ) at the same day, I could go back Penang one trip to get my ABAP books and meet up with my friends,family and Shuant.
Unfortunately, MOM was so crowded that I only can get my EP on the next day. So back to Penang trip was canceled. I went into the wrong queue in MOM, they’ve 2 types of passes, one is called employment pass and one is work permit, mine is EP…which generally is for those cert holders(diploma or degree above) I think, so I was queueing up at the work permit line, and all of a sudden I realized that I’m the only chinese standing in that queue ( the rest are all bangla), I pulled out my documents from the envelope and re-read it again, farking it says Employment Pass. So I wasted sometime there having to re-queue again. Shit.
Anyway, Brandy the dog…when he wants something from you eg. something to eat, he’ll act very innnocent and stares at you.
P/S: I’ll be start working onna monday!

8th Nov – Finally I’ve gotten my employment pass from the evil time waster MOM, thanks to my cousin and his wife who fetched me to MOM early in the morning on a wet raining Saturday. As an appreciation to their kindness, I treated them breakfast. Dim Sum! I’ve forgotten the restaurant name, Red Star or something?
I had this for dinner…I couldn’t finish it anyway…
And this is Brandy the stupid dog’s face looks like whenever you’re eating something…
I started working onna monday, which coincidentally my boss is on MC…no one else knows if a laptop is allocated for me or even where should I be sitting. So I spent my first day of the day reading stuff on my handphone and the farking battery dried out not long after lunch, so I switched to my k800i and browse around the pictures in it until…my k800i’s battery also almost dried out! fark…
To summarize, I spent my day drying out 2 handphone batteries to entertain myself from boredom!
I had dinner with my cousin etc at Botak Jones western food, I was damn hungry that I ordered a large fish n chip which costs SGD12.50, and later on I was cursing that I was damn full…haha
Lesson of the day: Always bring your charger out…and don’t order large fish n chips at Botak John!
